We began our on-site services June 20th of 2002 and have been blessed with continuous growth since. Our desire, is to serve you and your company with solid integrity, years of experience, and the most accurate test equipment available.
CAT Spindle Grinding Service will come to your shop and repair you're worn or wrecked spindle taper seat, while the spindle remains in the machine. This means, no machine tear down and only a few hours down time.
Long term wear can create a loss of as much as 50% or more surface contact between the tool holder and the spindle taper.
Machine alignments are not affected by in place grinding, and tolerances are held within new spindle specifications.
